The two videos in this series are for the training of parents to help them prepare their children for the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. For the children's videos see VCZ-310.1 & .2.

.1 RECONCILIATION is for those helping prepare children for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The guide includes suggestions for parent meetings and prayer services.

Part one (24 min.) Through the parable of the prodigal son, Father Joe Kempf teaches about sin, the incredible forgiveness of God and the gift of the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Part two (18 min.) The Rite of Reconciliation is demonstrated in a simple and inviting manner. This episode also addresses many of the common questions regarding this sacrament.

Part three (7 min.) The importance of parents in the faith lives of their children is addressed.

Part four (9 min.) By means of a guided prayer meditation, Father Joe leads parents to a tender and moving experience of the love of God in their hearts for their children.

.2 EUCHARIST is for those helping the children prepare for Eucharist. The guide includes suggestions for parent meetings and prayer services.

Part one (18 min.) In the Eucharist God feeds the deepest hungers of our hearts through the gathering itself, the Word, and the sharing of the Body and Blood of Christ.

Part two (12 min.) Father Joe discusses the importance of parents in the faith lives of their children.

Part three (9 min.) This episode offers some perspective on helping to assure that the children will stay close to Jesus throughout their lives.

Part four (9 min.) In a tender and moving guided prayer meditation, viewers are invited to see again the quiet presence of God in their own family and in the Eucharist.
