Using favorite Bible stories as illustrations, the video examines the ways Jesus taught. Uses real-life classroom situations to help teachers strengthen their teaching ministry by following Jesus's example.

Thom and Joani Schultz suggest some of the reasons that Sunday School students may not be learning what their teachers are attempting to teach. Shows interviews with some kids and their responses to Sunday School. It includes creative suggestions for improving teaching. Additional suggestions are given in the accompanying book.

The video is a storytelling workshop with well-known Christian Educator, Pat Griggs. She gives the basics of storytelling from guidelines for choosing a story to exploring the story creatively with the students.

This youth ministry kit is designed to help youth leaders build a purpose-driven ministry. Youth Specialties speaker and author Doug Fields affirms the uniqueness of each church and youth ministry. The kit includes a facilitator's guide and participant's guide, along with the video.

VCT-523 SUNDAY SCHOOL: IT'S FOR LIFE!- (A); 40 min.; No guide; Cokesbury, 2004.

The program shows the importance of good Sunday School classes to the spiritual growth and development of the church's congregation. The video is divided into four segments: 1. Introduction 2. Renewing Children's Sunday School 3. Make a Difference in Youth Sunday School 4. Connecting Sunday School and Adults. It features United Methodist Sunday Schools, but is useful for other denominations also.

This series of videos portrays the many steps involved in beginning a multi-dimensional learning or rotation model Sunday School program. Mickie O'Donnell, Director of CMA, introduces the video and gives information on how to start a program in a local church.

.1 INTRODUCTION TO "MULTIDIMENSIONAL LEARNING 101" - 9:30 min.

Mickie O'Donnell gives a short overview of multidimensional or rotation model learning. She gives the rationale behind this method of Christian Education and shows examples of actual classrooms with teachers and children in action. Educators from various churches tell how this type of program enhanced their children’s learning experience.

.2 MULTIDIMENSIONAL LEARNING 101- 40 min. Mickie O'Donnell uses lecture, actual classroom experiences, and classroom enhancements to introduce multidimensional learning which is often referred to as Rotation Model learning. She shows how the multiple intelligences of teachers and children are used to teach and develop lasting faith in adults and children.

.3 PLAY, THE TRANSFORMATIONAL LANGUAGE OF THE CHILD- 40 min.

Mickie O'Donnell shows how play is the transformational language of the child. She introduces statistics of the problems and needs of today's children and presents ways that multidimensional teaching using play language will lead to the child's eventual experience of God.

.4 VIRTUAL CHURCH TOUR- 24 min.

This virtual church tour shows the amazing transformation of uninteresting, plain classrooms and other spaces into exciting, stimulating environments for creative learning. The Illinois churches in the tour have done fantastic remodeling using paint, fabric, posters, theater seats, barrels, and other items to provide a vibrant learning atmosphere for their children.

This DVD accompanies Joy Melton's book, Safe Sanctuaries in the Church. It helps Christian laity and clergy assess risk and implement processes to reduce the likelihood of abuse in their congregations. The book contains sample forms for screening of workers and reporting abuse, etc.

VCT-526 HOW TO PROTECT YOUR CHILDREN'S MINISTRY FROM LIABILITY- (A); 60 min.; Guide; Gospel Light, 1995.

This video seminar advises churches on how to make their children's programs safe and secure. It provides an hour of top legal counsel with no cost. The video will also help protect children's workers from problems that can arise.

This DVD is an introduction for Christian educators, worship committees, and lay leaders to show an effective worship-centered ministry of faith for young children.  The program is based on the book Young Children and Worship and  uses the wooden storytelling figures.
