Emory United Methodist Church’s Financial Secretary since 1995, Lorraine Reed added the responsibilities of Church Secretary to her service in 2006. Lorraine joined the Emory church family in 1987 when she transferred from Back River United Methodist Church in Essex. Currently retired from the Social Security Administration with 31 years of government service, Lorraine began her career right out of high school as a secretary and moved up through the ranks to become a Financial Operations Analyst in the Deputy Commissioner’s office. Married to her best friend, Bob, Lorraine has one son, Steve and is the proud grandmother of two adorable children--Justin and Emily.
