Hello my name is Ty Myers and I would like to welcome you to Emmanuel United Methodist Church. I have been the pastor here since 2002 and continue to enjoy every moment with the good people here. I am enjoying life in my second career and have been serving in the United Methodist Church since 1994. I believe that life is a gift and is to be enjoyed, hopefully, this can be experienced in my preaching.
It is also my belief that we all deserve a place of worship that makes us feel comfortable and so that is what I try to do as a pastor-create a comfortable, yet, challenging environment of worship where we can connect with God. Furthermore, I believe that most of life is about relationships whether they be with God or one another. Therefore, I try to help those who attend Emmanuel in building lasting relationships with others and God. Personally, I enjoy building relationships and getting to know people.
Finally, I believe that life is a journey. The journey we embark upon is one that leads us to grow in our relationship with others and God. I invite you come and journey with us at Emmanuel as we grow and learn together along the faith journey. Don't worry about being perfect-I'm certainly not. Come as you are and know that we all have faults yet God still love us. We truly serve a wonderful and awesome God!
