We believe that we are called to be active in our community and in the world in which God has so blessed us to be in. We ask that our church family not only support our monthly mission projects but that they also serve others in our local community. This page contains just some of the missions we support.
Food for Wilderness Times: An annual food drive benefiting the Emergency Clearinghouse Food pantry. Held each year during the season of Lent--beginning in 2006. We have reached our goal of 1,000 food items each year! We collected 1,063 items in 2008.
We support the following Missions and hope to include pictures in the future:
Circle of Caring - a local faith in action organization that helps the frail and elderly in our community.
Christmas Shoe Box Ministry - we collect shoeboxes with various gifts to distribute throughout the world through Franklin Graham's "Good Samaritan" ministry.
Festival of Sharing - we provide various kits that are used around the world.
School Supplies - we collect school supplies for students.
Thanksgiving Food Baskets - we collect food and distribute baskets to families in need.
Christmas Food Baskets and gifts - we collect food and gifts for those in need.
Free clothing center - we have volunteers that work at the free clothing center and we receive
donations for this ministry throughout the year.
One Community Ministries - faithful fathers ministry - we receive donations to help purchase gifts during Christmas for children whose father's are in prison.
Nothing But Nets - We will be collecting donations in May for this ministry to help fight malaria.
