A group of our knitters and crocheters meet on Monday evenings at 7 p.m. to make and pray over prayer shawls for shut-ins, individuals who are seriously ill or anyone who might need to feel the comfort of a prayer shawl, lovingly made, around them. This is also our Monday evening Study Group. For more information on the Study Group, please click on our Calendar page. |

Women of Spirit |

The Women of Spirit meet on the 3rd Wednesday of the month and support various missions and local charities including United Methodist Community House, UMCOR, Ronald McDonald House, Salvation Army, Prison Ministry, Baldwin Center, U. M. Retirement Home, Light House of Oakland and give toward the salary support of Charissa Shawcross a local U.M. missionary serving at Joy-Southfield Health Clinic and the Noah Project at Central UMC in Detroit.
