Worship Services

Elizabeth Memorial United Methodist Church offers two services of worship each week. Our pastor Dr. Frank T. Shomo invites you to join us this Sunday for worship at one of our services, and to stay for Sunday School at 10:00 a.m.

Java Jeans and JesusOur "Java, Jeans and Jesus" Contemporary Worship is a relaxed, casual dress service that uses praise songs, power point and video clips, and dramatic skits as a way to share the Gospel. Featuring our praise band (The Holy Fish), "Java, Jeans and Jesus" is a high-energy service of worship that gets folks excited about praising God. Donuts and coffee or juice are served starting at 8:45 a.m. and the worship service starts at 9:00 a.m.

At 11:00 a.m. we offer a Traditional Service of Worship using hymns, traditional liturgies, and music by the Chancel Choir or handbell choir for worship. For those who prefer to worship our Lord in a more "formal" setting, our Traditional Service is for you.

Communion is usually held the first Sunday of each month at both services. All are invited to join us at the Lord's table.
