Brunch Welcoming New Clergy
On October 2, District Superintendent Oscar Carrasco and his wife, Shelia Joyce, hosted new clergy to Elgin District at their parsonage for a Fall Brunch. Fellowship and a time for sharing was enjoyed by all.
Attending the gathering were Reverends David Lagos-Fonseca and Shirley Pulgar Hughes, co-pastors of the Cary UMC; Rev. Robert Sathuri, pastor of the Lake Villa UMC and his wife, Theresa; Rev. Soon-Sun Lee, pastor of the Harvard UMC; Rev. Kwang-Sung Lim, pastor of the Itasca UMC; Rev. Ron Petersen, pastor of the Mount Hope UMC and Ringwood UMC and his wife, Jacqueline; Rev. Sharon Bulmer, pastor of Ingleside UMC;
Rev. Sang Hun Han, Associate of Kingswood UMC and his wife, Hee Sung Kawon; Rev. Linda Deming, Pastor of Wood Dale Community UMC; Rev. Rogelio Zavala, pastor of San Pablo UMC; and Regional Administrative Assistant, Barbara Pufundt.
