The Genesis Connection in Concert
On Sunday, October 25, 2009, the African American choral group Genesis Connection from Chicago makes a return appearance to First United Methodist Church of Elmhurst, and the community is warmly invited to attend. The interactive performance will delight all ages and begins at 4:00 p.m. The performance kicks off a year-long celebration of the 85th anniversary of First United Methodist Church of Elmhurst, which was founded in 1924.

The men of Genesis Connection represent all walks of life and come together to witness to their faith through song. They feature their own arrangements of gospel and spirituals, featuring soloists as well as their unique choral sound.
