Although East Lemon is a self-contained church congregation, we are part of a worldwide Christian community of faith which upholds the Holy Bible, especially the good news about the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ contained in the New Testament.

We are part of the United Methodist Church which serves more than 8 million members nationwide as well as their neighbors at home and around the world. We are located in the Wyoming Conference which serves a southern tier of New York as well as northeastern Pennsylvania.

We are part of the Wilkes Barre District which serves some 82 local churches in Bradford, Luzerne, Susquehanna and Wyoming Counties in Pennsylvania.

We are part of a charge which also creates an opportunity for our pastor and us to serve and be served by United Methodist Churches at Lemon and West Nicholson.
