El Camino Real Bell

Welcome to the new El Camino Real District UMW! We include the Northern California region from Brentwood in the northeast, to Soledad in the south, to South San Francisco in the northwest. "El Camino Real", or "The King's Highway," was established in the early 1800's as a route linking the missions, pueblos, and presidios, from San Diego to Sonoma. Today the route is marked by replicas of mission bells, as it had been in 1915. See more about El Camino Real and the mission bells here.

El Camino Real District UMW Officers 2012
