The opportunities for Christian Education are many and varied. In addition to the Sunday school classes for children and youth, several Adult classes, led by outstanding members of our congregation, are offered.

Disciple Bible Study has been a life-changing experience for hundreds of thousands of Christians around the world, and for dozens of us here at EGUMC. It provides an opportunity for immersion in the scriptures that deepens both faith and understanding.
Disciple:
BECOMING DISCIPLES THROUGH BIBLE STUDY emphasizes disciplined reading
of and listening to Scripture. It results in biblically nourished persons
committed to live as disciples. During the course of 34 weeks,
Disciple groups move through the Scriptures from Genesis to
Revelation. Disciple participants will read more than 70
percent of the Bible. The Scripture readings follow the chronological
movement of the biblical story. Disciple groups meet weekly
for a period of 34 weeks. Each member makes a commitment to daily
preparation (30-45 minutes per day) and weekly attendance at the group
sessions. Disciple aims at transformation, not just
information. In Disciple we ask questions, but we also let
the biblical text question us, and we learn together in a safe and friendly
environment.

ADULT BIBLE STUDY:
We meet on Sundays
at 10:00 am in the Conference Room. Our study guide is called "FaithLink."
The weekly lessons examine current news items from the perspective of
biblical faith and United Methodist teaching. The goal is to motivate
Christians to consider their personal views on important contemporary issues
and encourage us to act on our beliefs. Consider joining us in this new
