Durand First has been serving the Durand community since
1868. We just recently moved (October of 2005)into our new 18,000
square foot facility on Newburg Rd. Our new church building was built
primarily by volunteers from our church and other churches and groups.
Because of the volunteer labor we were able to build a church facility that
is worth $2.5 million and includes a full-size gym, a sanctuary that can
seat 300 people, education class rooms and enough land to also add a soccer
field and a softball field for $1.1 million.
We are a church that is very much involved in Durand and the
surrounding township. We are active in the local ecumenical food
pantry, "Loaves and Fishes," and cooperate with other local congregations,
both United Methodist and other denominations in reaching out to the area.
We offer two styles of worship, contemporary and
traditional.
We invite to come and worship with us.
