Angel Food Ministries -- The Parish is now a Host site and "Open Heart Ministries" receives a $1.00 from each order. No income guidelines, no questions... If you eat, you qualify! Buy for yourself or you can donate your purchase. The food can also be purchased with Food Stamps. Duff Street food orders for August are needed by Thursday, August 13th at noon. Pick up date is Saturday, August 22nd between 8:30 & 9:30 a.m. at the Bridgeport UM Church. Note earlier pick up time. You can now order Specials with a Basic Food Order. Meat and Vegetable Specials available. Order sheets are available at the church or you can order online.

Sign up to Pray for a specific Street in the Neighborhood -- You may pray as you walk, drive down the street, or even pray at home as you visualize houses or families on that street. Your prayers will make a difference to those who live or frequent the area. Sign up sheet at the church. Cover our neighborhood in prayer.

Pray -- Looking for someone to pray with? The "Wednesday Morning Prayer Group" meets for Breakfast at 7:00 a.m. each week in the Multi-Ministries Building. At noon each Thursday, a "Prayer Team" meets in the Open Door classroom in back of the sanctuary to pray for spirtual awakening of the church, our community, and the world. Everyone is welcome.
