We all drove to the Hwy 14 bridge, where we were to
park our cars and get in the canoes. And then the most wonderful
adventure began.

The water was beautiful and crystal clear, we just
had to get out and swim. The water was a bit cool at first, but
we quickly got used to it and had a blast. The current was very
strong in the deep spots, so we stayed where we could touch. And
just think, just 2 weeks earlier, the water was 20 feet higher.

We just happened to be there at the same time as the
"Flying Zambinis"

We left with 8 canoes and one raft full, we arrived
with 8 full canoes and one empty raft in tow. If anyone is missing,
I think I know where we lost them.

The last dip before we go back to the motel.

The River Rats!
(ooops, sorry Lee Jay)

Here is a map overview of the route we took. It was
9 miles long and we were on the river for 4 hours. The part marked
in green is the actual part of the river we traveled.
