Team Leadership Council
Seventeen members attended the Team Leadership Council meeting January 10, 2006. The team met in the Fellowship Hall with Team Leader Lita Eskew presiding. At this organizational gathering, Pastor David presented a video, “Leadership, An Art of Possibilities,” which was written and published by Ben Zander and Ron Zander. Think positive, speak possibility, and don’t take yourself too seriously was the main theme set for the viewing audience. Individual team leaders such as missions, worship, fellowship, Christian education, and evangelism were challenged and encouraged to set two or three goals for the year 2006 and to present their plan at the February 13 meeting. Prayer requests were made and the meeting was closed with prayer. Quiet the voice in the head that says, “I can’t do it,” because together We Can Do It!

Major Funds Campaign
The Major Funds campaign has begun for FUMC. Thank you to Katherine Vance for the donation of $500 in memory of her husband, Earl L. Vance. The money is designated for the Building Fund to make repairs to the bulletin board.

Library Committee
The Library Committee is doing an inventory of material in the library. Please check your shelves for long overdue books and return them to the table in the library. If you are not finished with your book, please write the author and title and leave it on the table. Thank you!
