Parish News Spirit Lake Ministry Center: The Parish is in for a treat Sunday, Nov 8th. Mike & Libby Flowers from the Spirit Lake Ministry Center will be joining us for worship. They will be sharing with us many amazing stories of their work and ministries. We are still collecting donations for this ministry. Items needed include clothing, furniture, any household items. Please be sure items are clean and in good repair. Please let Pastor Kathy or Russell/Marilyn Bott know if you have any furniture so they can plan room for it.
If you would like to see the church & parish reports for 2009 and the budgets for 2010, there are some copies available in the back of each church. The PPRC has given Pastor Kathy permission to hire Heather Ondracek for secretarial services five hours per week. She will be paid through the Parish account. Nativity Display: This year the Des Lacs Valley Parish will participate together in Kenmare’s “Light Up the Night”, Nov 28 Thanksgiving weekend. If you would like to set up your Nativities to display or would like us to set them up for you, please contact the church office. If possible we would like a short description for each Nativity. (something about where it’s from, when you received it, why you like it, etc.) If we could get these early, we can type them up in sign form. We will also need sweets and cider to share with our guests.
