Expressing the love of Christ in outreach and service. . .

As the prayer goes, 'Christ has no hands but yours, no feet but yours, no eyes but yours' so Diamond Hill is active in its community, expressing the love of Christ in outreach and service, through participation in programs for the elderly, disabled and shut-in; service to area soup kitchens; and administration and participation in low-income housing programs.

Affordable Housing
In 1983, members of Diamond Hill formed the Diamond Hill Community Services Corporation to manage the charitable use of several housing units on Diamond Hill's grounds. Through this corporation, Diamond Hill  has provided and managed affordable housing to low and moderate income families in the nation's most expensive housing market.

Outreach and Social Service
For several years now, Diamond Hill has maintained a standing Social Concerns Committee to facilitate church involvement in community projects. Current projects include dinner and entertainment events for residents of the Quarry Knoll Community for the elderly and disabled, and food donations and monthly sandwich-making for local soup kitchens.

Diamond Hill also provides free and low-cost meeting space to recovery and support groups, including Alcoholics Anonymous and the Greenwich AIDS Alliance HIV Support Group.

Coffee House
Since July 30, 2005, Diamond Hill has been opening its doors monthly to local talent to offer a safe and friendly place for all members of the community to gather. People looking to enjoy the company of others and appreciate the talents of local artists are truly welcome. It is the venue for fellowship, fun, arts, entertainment and care. Find the schedule on our Arts & Education page.
