LENT AND EASTER

Half-way through Lent we pause to think about our commitment to the role of faith in our lives. How committed are we to serving the Lord? What a better time to make a place in our schedule for the furthering of our Christian Education and devoting precious time to our Church. Our Church School calendar for the remaining days of Lent is full. Each Sunday, through Palm Sunday, we are collecting snacks and non-perishable toiletries and clothing items for PADS. Each Sunday the children and young people are asked to bring one item from the list below. The PADS guests will be most grateful for your generosity. Please remind your children. We thank you. On the 21st of April plan to attend the family oriented Good Friday Service at 10:30 AM. It is good for all of us to see our beliefs through the eyes of children. On the 22nd, the Saturday before Easter, meet at the church at 10:00 AM to color eggs for the Easter morning breakfast. Each participating family is asked to bring an egg coloring kit. We are grateful to the Dwyer Family for donating the eggs. At the same time the older children will be decorating the Bunny Cakes. The Chapp family has again graciously baked all the cakes that will be made into bunnies. Thank you. All ages of child and adult are welcome to help.
