 In viewing our web page you are looking through a window into the life of the DeSoto United Methodist Church.  You will find a welcoming group of people of all ages who meet here each Sunday at 9:00am to Worship God.  Holy Communion is offered to all baptized Christians the first Sunday of each month. 

If you are new to the area or not currently attending church, we invite you to worship with us.  We are the only Church located in the city of DeSoto. Our service focuses on the celebration of the life of our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Our union with Him is our natural goal.  Worship is central to achieving this goal.  Nothing else in our society is comparable to worship.  Worship is not the same as education or entertainment.  It has as its purpose communion with God for the worshiping community. The life of a human being blossoms when it begins to grow in the likeness of God by means of participating in the life of God.   We invite you to join us in this endeavor.
