Volunteer Opportunities

At Dove there are many opportunities for those who wish to serve by volunteering their time and special talents. To volunteer or to receive more information, please contact the church office.

ONGOING NEEDS

Care Ministry Team
Contact:
Volunteers provide comfort and support to individuals and families experiencing stressful life events such as hospitalization, serious illness or death. The Care Ministry team also supports other church ministries and offers specific services such as prayer partners and Prayer Shawl Ministry; care notes; transportation, hospital and shut-in visits; meals support; card ministry; homebound communion; free blood pressure checks; workshops; emergency medical (CPR) responders.

Dove Youth Fellowship

Oh, to be a teenager again! Do you love to work with youth? Specify Junior High or Senior High.

Landscaping Labor
Volunteer to help maintain Dove's beautiful grounds. Trim roses and other bushes, pull weeds, spread mulch, etc.

Nursery Helpers
Contact:
Help weekly or as a substitute for children under 3 during worship services and other events.

Outreach Ministry
Contact:
Help welcome first-time visitors to Dove and make follow-up visits

Parking Lot Security
Contact:
Patrol the church parking lot during Sunday worship services.

Pioneer Clubs
Contact:
Help with Pioneer Clubs for children from 3 years through 4th grade on Wednesday evenings.

Sunday School
Contact:
Help Dove's precious children in learning about our faith.

Visual Design Team
Contact:
Assist in working with altar flowers and altar decorations.

Wednesday Night Live!

Help prepare meals and clean up after Wednesday night fellowship.
