Aspiring artists, both novice and experienced, are invited to receive instruction in drawing, watercolor, oil and acrylic painting. The group meets every Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Contact Sharon Mankins - for more information.

Bowling

Our bowling league bowls meets every other Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Brunswick Bowling Lanes on 59th Avenue north of Bell Road. We have room for more bowlers! You do not need to be a great bowler, but just want to have fun on a Sunday afternoon. Prize money is awarded at the end of the year. Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club meets for – you guessed it – breakfast every Monday morning from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant at Bell Road & 84th Avenue. Dinner for 8

Dinner for 8 provides the opportunity for a group of eight individuals to meet monthly for dinner, conversation and fellowship. Each group chooses its preferred day, time and setting (lunch, theme dinners, desserts, restaurants, home dinners, barbecues, etc.). Groups are reorganized every four months to encourage additional friendships to be established. Sign-up is at the beginning of the 4-month period, which will be posted in the bulletin. Dirty Doves Co-ed Softball

The Dirty Doves co-ed softball team plays a double header every Sunday September through May, with a break of about six weeks between seasons. Games are held at Foothills Park, 57th Avenue and Union Hills. Participants must be age 18 or older. Batter up! Contact: Peggy Ellis - .

Passages from Grief to Hope (Support Group)

If you are experiencing loss and do not know where to turn, our confidential grief support group invites you to join them the second and fourth Wednesday evenings of the month from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in Room 9.

Lunch Bunch

The Lunch Bunch has been meeting for over ten years for fellowship and fun with other church members of all ages. The group meets the first Thursday of the month at Noon to sample delicious fare at various restaurants in the northwest Valley. Everyone is welcome, from young mothers with toddlers to retirees. PrimeTime is an informal monthly gathering for fun, food and fellowship. Dove couples of all ages - they young, young-at-heart, and anyone in between - new to Dove, or members for years - all are welcome!
