Our church is entering its sixth consecutive year of ministry partnership with Grace United Methodist in Dover. We meet around dinner tables laden with home cooked food and our agenda is simply to share God's love with each other. Folks who wouldn't have otherwise taken time to learn about each other are sharing dinner and conversation on the Second Sunday of each month between September and June. Men, women and children attend the dinner from the Dover area as well as members of our church. Many of the dinner guests are homeless or living at poverty levels and the meal serves as their only nutritious meal during the weekend. This ministry has become a popular activity for many of our church families. |
