| Dear Church Family, The Denville Community United Methodist Church has a rich heritage of faith. Over 200 years ago believers started assembling in our young community to worship the Lord and to seek God’s will and direction for their lives. As a result, over these many years we have seen countless people put their faith in Jesus Christ. We have also witnessed the highs and lows, the ups and downs of life, all while being committed to being a church with an Open Door. Through it all, we have found strength for living out our faith because God has been alive and active through the ministries of Denville Community United Methodist Church. We now stand at a very unique place in our rich heritage, with an unprecedented opportunity to open the door of our church in a much more significant way. As we launch our capital stewardship campaign, we celebrate the strength of conviction of those who came before us, the faith journeys of our Church Family today, and the hope of generations to come. As we make plans to open our door as never before, our hope is that our community in which we live and future generations will be blessed by our efforts today. Friends, we have a rich heritage and an exciting and challenging future. We have been given so much. It is my hope and prayer that each of us will do all that we can in order to open the door as never before. I hope all of you will join us and be a part of this incredible journey.
