Vision Statement:  Our vision is to give God glory by becoming disciples through nurturing, serving, growing, helping ourselves and others discover a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our purpose as the Deep Creek Lake United Methodist Church is to build up the Church of Jesus Christ and to reach out in mission and service to the world. In this endeavor we are to tell all persons about the Gospel of Jesus Christ; that is, the Good News of God's love for his creation and His salvation for all persons through Jesus Christ. Our task is to call all persons to experience the life changing grace of God through the personal and corporate teachings of Jesus Christ as found in the New and Old Testaments and taught in His Church. This, in turn, calls for a commitment to a disciplined Christian life -- faith and love put into practice.

We believe that God's love toward us always involves Christian witness, mission and service to the world. Through our worship, Bible study and educational activities, fellowship, outreach to the community and the world and our church organizations and ministries, we strive to accomplish this purpose.
