A Message From Reverend Cathy Bourgoin

During the summer of 1959, forty-seven people met in a hay barn at our present location to implement a vision to begin a new community of faith. Through their commitment and dedication, Davis Memorial United Methodist Church was established as an outreach to individuals and families moving to the surrounding area.

Forty-five years later, Davis Memorial continues to be a warm and compassionate church with people who reach out with the love of Christ to children, youth and adults. Weekly worship services are uplifting and apply biblical principles to everyday living. Davis Memorial offers many opportunities to serve locally, nationally and internationally through missions and other venues. There are also a number of Sunday schoool classes, music ministries, ministries for children and youth, and other small group ministries in which to participate.

The future of Davis Memorial is exciting as we prepare to expand its ministries and facilities for a growing congregation. We are committed to welcoming newcomers to our surrounding area with Christian love and we are dedicated to share with them the good news of Jesus Christ.

We welcome you into our fellowship and pray that you will experience the joy and love that permeates this wonderful congregation. I look forward to meeting you soon.
