Music is an important part of our worship service at Daleville United Methodist Church. We combine traditional elements such as hymns with more contemporary praise songs. There are two active music groups at the church as well as many members of the congregation who occasionally perform special music for us. The two established music groups in the church are the Sanctuary Choir and the Praise Team.

Sanctuary Choir

The Sanctuary Choir sings an anthem each Sunday during Fall, Winter, and Spring. They take the summer months off. Also, the Choir also perform Christmas and Easter music specials. This year, our Choir was lead by director Chris Mettert.

Praise Team

The Praise Team sings a set of three or four more modern praise songs each Sunday during the worship service. This is a spirited group who desires to bring a more contemporary feel to the service. The group occasionally performs special music in addition to their regular set as well. This group is led by pianist Josh Rosentreter.
