Rainbows & Rhymes Preschool/Parents' Day Out
Our program is designed to equally benefit parents and preschool children. It allows parents to enjoy time away while providing a safe, stimulating and loving environment for their children.
These programs provide an opportunity for growth in a variety of skills and social relationships. Activities are designed to offer group play and individual interaction. Children are together in supervised groups for planned activities as well as free play. We strive to keep an ideal teacher/child ratio for each class.
In addition to the classroom, play space is available on our outside playground and in Fellowship Hall downstairs.
Preschool
Our Preschool is designed to prepare children, in a Christian atmosphere, for the challenges of school. Age appropriate curriculum provides opportunities to develop academic and social skills. Music, physical education, art activities and story time are an important part of the curriculum.
Class Times
3 year olds: Tuesday and Thursday
8:30 - 11:00 a.m. or
12:30 - 3:00 p.m.
$65 a month
4 & 5 year olds: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
8:30 - 11:00 am. or
12:30 - 3:00 p.m.
$80 a month
There is a $20 registration fee for Preschool, which includes a t-shirt. Children must be appropriate age by August 1.
Parents' Day Out
The Parents' Day Out program brings opportunities for play and learning in a more relaxed atmosphere with a wide variety of activities to help develop socialization skills using free play, manipulatives, crafts, stories, large muscle activities, mealtime and rest. The program offers a class for 1-2 year olds and a class for 3-4 year olds.
Hours
Monday through Friday
8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
There are two sessions per day.
8:30-11:30 and 12:30-3:30
Fees
1 & 2s - $12 per session or $24 full day
3 & 4s - $10 per session or $20 full day
Preschool students - $12 per day
There is a $15 registration fee, which is due at the time of registration. Children must be appropriate age for the specific class by August 1.
Children staying through the lunch hour must bring their own lunch, including a drink. A light snack will be provided during the morning and afternoon.
