Community United Methodist Church has been serving the community of Pagosa Springs and Archuleta County in Colorado for over 100 years. The original church was built in 1897 and the current facility was constructed in 1968 with an education wing and chapel added in 1986. In 2009 the sanctuary building was remodeled, including a new roof and facade on the front of the church. A bell tower similar to that of the original church was added.

The purpose of the Community United Methodist Church is to celebrate in, communicate about, and witness to the Love of Christ in our church, community and world.

Our services are planned to provide a special worship experience to everyone. The early service is non-traditional, offering contemporary music, while the late service has a more traditional format, with music shared by our chancel choir.

Sunday School classes meet each Sunday for all ages from pre-school up. Two adult classes are offered with a variety of subjects and formats. Bible study groups meet weekly several times throughout the year. A nursery is open during Sunday School and during both worship services.

CUMC is located in downtown Pagosa Springs one block north of US Hwy 160.
