Single, But Not Alone - Being a single parent is a very difficult job. We understand that with so much to do for your children and your household, there is often no time left for you. We at Centenary UMC would like to make your life a bit easier, if only for one evening a week. Come relax with us each Wednesday evening from 5:45 pm to 7:15 pm. Let us cook dinner and supervise your children for you. Dinner is $5.00 per adult and $2.00 per child, with a maximum of $10.00 per family.
Fair Trade Mission Project - The chocolate, tea, and coffee display in the hallway outside the library is an ongoing project of the Church Council. "Fair Trade" means that the producers receive a fair price for their goods, a wage allowing the farmers to provide food, clothing, shelter and education for their families. Aluminum Can Recycling - The Youth Group continues to recycle your aluminum cans. Please place rinsed cans in a plastic bag and tie the bag. Place bags in the fenced area behind the church shed. The proceeds from the sale of the cans are used to support various youth activities throughout the year.
2009 Mission Kits - We are now collecting items for kits for Annual Conference 2009. The supply lists for health, baby layette, sewing and school kits are given below. Donations can be placed in the box outside the Church Office. Monetary donations are also needed to cover the cost of shipping of the kits.
