Information for Our Guests

Catonsville United Methodist Church has had roots in the community since 1855. Since then, our congregation has given witness to the impact and the power of God's redeeming love, as we have faithfully worshipped and served in this community. We welcome our visitors to join in this ministry and the joy that we have experienced by constantly lifting up God's vision and hope for the world.

Here are some ways we make your visit comfortable:

  • A staff-supervised Cribbery-Nursery is available beginning at 8:20 a.m. during all worship services.

  • Children are welcome and encouraged to participate in our worship! Children's worship bulletins are available on a Children's Worship Table. During the 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. worship services, there is a Story for Children. During the 11:00 a.m. worship service children, ten and under, may leave for a Junior Church program.

  • Music is a vital ministry at Catonsville UMC. We have an accomplished Senior Choir, Handbell Choir, Middle School Choir, Junior choir, and a variety of talented soloists and instrumentalists.

  • An Interpreter for the deaf is present at the 9:30 a.m. worship service.

  • A Braille Hymnal and Large Print Hymnals are available from the ushers.

  • An elevator services all floors.

  • Handicapped accessible restrooms are available.

  • Baby Changers are provided in the men's and women's restrooms in the Social Hall, and the handicapped accessible restroom on the second floor.

  • Reserved parking for new guests and those with handicapped tags is set aside on our main parking lot.
