London Mills Youth Group The London Mills youth group is gearing up for the year. (Yes we realize we are already two months into the year. All this cold weather and snow sent us into hibernation a little! ?) We can`t wait until the weather turns nice enough to be outside again. Until then every Wednesday night we are studying various basic Christian topics (such as sin, grace, redemption) leading up to Easter. Easter is the most important Christian holiday and we want the kids to really understand why.

On Saturday, March 27th, we are looking forward to going to Winter Jam in Normal, IL. It is an amazing Christian concert featuring some big name bands like Third Day and Newsboys, and some amazing up and coming bands like Sidewalk Prophets, as well as many others! Best part?it only costs $10 per person!!! We hope all our youth will plan on joining us for what we hope will be a fun and life changing event! We will be sending home information and permission slips with our youth soon, so parents make sure the kids get them to you!!!

Even though Easter is over a month away we have started planning the Easter Sunrise service. We are going to do things a little differently this year. Our prayer is that by changing the norm we will more deeply touch lives with the love Christ. If you want to know more you?ll just have to wake up early and join us Easter Morning!

We leaders would also like to ask you to take time to lift our youth up in prayer. We have quite a few youth who have lost family members and who are dealing with other major life changing events. Like any small group what happens to one person effects others, so we leaders are doing our best to help assist our kids through these difficult times. God is good, even in the difficult times. We pray we can be good example of God?s love to our youth in the midst of their struggles!
