| The Cuba Food Pantry can use your help. All types of supplies are needed. | Cuba Ad. Board Minutes: Ministry team-There are 5-6 kids here each week. Most of them are pre-school-first grade. The nursery needs to be available during church. The first Kid's Club met on September 3, and everything went well. The kids loved the games, crafts, music, and story. 31 kids attended and 15 adults helped. Because of the Scenic Drive, there will only be one service at Cuba UMC at 8:30 a.m.Youth Group-The meetings are being moved to Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m.They are planning a 'Cool Car Rally' on 9/28. New Business-There was a discussion about having the committees and Ad. Board meeting every other month. This was tabled until January. The Cuba UMC dinners during the Scenic Drive will be from 4-7 p.m. each Saturday.-Respectfully submitted by Ellen | Have you taken a look at the kitchen lately? Take a look at how many changes have been made. The stove has been moved, a new fan, ice-maker, and the first set of cabinets have been installed. | CONGRATULATIONS TO RHONDA B. on her marriage to Gregg G. | The Epworth Springs Planning Retreat was very successfully held on September 14th. There were 30 people who provided their input into ways our church can be improved. This information will be compiled and distributed soon. Strategic planning is vital to the future of our church. |
