Christ Servant Ministries is the recognized system for the training and service of Laity within Eastern Pennsylvania.

  • Own congregation, as well as
  • Other churches,
  • District and Conference projects and programs,
  • And communities beyond the local church.

Certified Lay Ministers serve ...

  • a congregation assigned by the District Superintendent by...
    • Providing a care ministry to a congregation,
    • Assisting in program leadership,
    • And witnessing in the community for the growth, missional, and connectional thrust of The United Methodist Church.
