Local Church ServantThose who want to become a Local Church Servant, must be recommended by their pastor and the Administrative Church Council/Board and register for a Christ Servant Ministry Basic Course. (The dates that basic courses are offered can be found on the Calendar of Events on this website.) In the ten hour introductory course, the Local Church Servant candidate learns about the need for servant ministries in our world and how his or her gifts can be used to be a better servant for Christ. Each year the Local Church Servant submits a report to the Church Charge Conference that indicates the results of the past year's ministry and continued study and growth. (Many Local Church Servants participate in other programs that help them in their Local Church.)
