Our annual Charge Conference is set for Monday, September 20, at 6:00 p.m. at Sandy Chapel UMC.

ANNOUNCEMENTS / MINISTRY UPDATES

Our first Church Homecoming in four years will be held Sunday, September 12.  (This is also Grandparents’ Day!)  Invite extended family and friends to join us for fellowship, Sunday School, worship, and a meal.  To prepare, a Clean-Up Day will be held Saturday, September 11.  Also, the Administrative Council will meet at high noon on that Saturday to approve Charge Conference papers.

The Church Directory photos have been rescheduled for September 7 (2:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.).  Please sign up for a time slot on the sheet in the Fellowship Hall.  If you cannot make it on the 7th, you can check with the photographers for other time slots on September 8-11 or September 14-15.  All sessions will be at the Centreville Baptist Church.

Rehearsals for the fall production of the Christian Community Theatre is posted on the bulletin board.  Feel free to join us as extras or backstage helpers.  “Church for Sale,” which is scheduled for showing in November, takes a candid look at what would happen to a small town if all the churches were to close.  Spread the word!

The SPRC will meet on Wednesday, September 8, at 6:00 p.m.

There will be no evening services tonight due to Labor Day weekend.
