Go 7 miles to end of pavement, continue straight for 1.7 miles on dirt road. Church is on left.

Site of worship services by Stephen F. Box as early as 1834. Log building here served

as church, school, and post office. Log building and another building which replaced it

burned. Property willed to Church by Box's son-in-law, William Calvert Hallmark;

current building dates from 1883.
