Worship Service

We seek to combine form infused with spirit in a warm, inviting atmosphere.
We take seriously the requests for prayer in our church and community and allow time for the sharing of joys and concerns.
Music is at the heart of our worship here at Crewe.  We believe God speaks through that medium as much as the spoken word.  We also have a wonderful Gospel Grass band offering inspirational music for informal services and special events. 
Preaching - the goal is to make the Bible connect with our everyday lives. 
Children's Time - We have a short children's service for children of all ages during the worship hour.
We offer the service of Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month.  That is a time when we celebrate the open table that the United Methodist Church believes in.  You are welcome regardless of age or church membership.  The only requirement John Wesley, our founder, has was that one would want to draw closer to God.

During the season of Lent-Easter, we also take part with the Crewe Burkeville Ministerial Association sponsored Wednesday noon community services, Good Friday Evening Service and Sunrise Service at Hooper Park.
During the season of Advent, the four Sundays preceding Christmas, we light the Advent Candle each week as we begin our preparation to welcome the Prince of Peace into our homes and hearts.  Our children, choir, and bell choir present programs.   We also hold a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service.
