Rat-a-tat-tots

Rat-a-tat-tots
Registration has begun for the summer session of Rat-a-tat-tots@CrestviewUMC, our music and movement class for parents and young children. Four dates are offered: May 29, June 5, June 12 and July 10, with times at both 10 am and 11 am (however, each class requires a minimum of 5 parent-child pairs). Change the World Weekend, May 19-20

Change the WorldEvery great movement begins with individuals choosing to work together for good.
On Change the World Weekend, May 19 - 20, United Methodist churches all over the country will spend time serving their neighbors and reaching out to demonstrate God’s love.

 

SATURDAY, MAY 19
A team will go to Bastrop to help with wildfire recovery. Leave from church parking lot at 8:15, bring a lunch. Volunteer packets available in foyer.

 

SUNDAY, MAY 20
Work teams 9:30 to 11 (then worship & lunch!)

 

PLEASE CHOOSE ONE

1. Writing brief letters of thanks and encouragement to homebound and to teachers at Wooten Elementary.

2. Assembling care packages to send to military personnel in the Middle East.

3. Sewing and preparing cloth tote bags to give to children who are being transported by police to care agencies.

4. Preparing a noon meal for the congregation and for Doug’s House, an HIV/AIDS hospice.

5. Neighborhood trash pick-up.

6. Children’s team: Brentwood Park playground clean-up; making cards for kids at Dell Children’s Hospital.

Children are welcome in worship! Activity bags are available in the back of the sanctuary. A nursery is also available for children through age 4.
