nWhy should I give to the endowment?

Endowment-gifts that persons permanently have given or left for the institutions of our Annual Conference are blessings that a ministry such as Cookson Hills might not live without. The earnings that they generate provide basic support as well as enrichment opportunities for this ministry that support the witness of the United Methodist Church.
Endowments have been tightly called the "gift that keeps on giving." Their steadfastness in producing income each year provides an advantage in planning and extending the work of our United Methodist causes. The work and mission of the Cookson Hills Center can be enriched in a way that might not be possible through the general budget.
