Rev. Meri
Whataker, Director. Meri handles the
administrative tasks at the Center, meets the public, raises funds
and gives direction to the staff.
Donna Carroll,
Administrative Assistant. Donna handles all of the duties in the office. She schedules the calendar,
answers the phones, balance the books and pays the bills. She is usually
the first person the public encounters at the Center.
Melinda Bolin,
Thrift Store Manager. Melinda sorts
through the donations of clothing and household items that
come in for the thrift store, she sends thank you notes to all who
donate,
hangs up items to be sold, and deals with the public.
Geraldine Murphy,
Thrift Store and Custodian. Geraldine
helps to sort the items that come into thrift and she
keeps all of our buildings clean.
Colleen Argue,
Coordinator of Volunteers. Colleen
oversees the groups that come to work from all over the
country. Groups of United
Methodists come to rebuild and refurbish
homes in our area. Colleen is
also responsible for the building and
equipment at the Center.
Debbie Humphrey,
Program Coordinator. Debbie is
responsible for children and youth programs.
She is
responsible to transport, feed and provide a program for the
children
youth. Debbie also does the
public relations. She takes care of
the
garden seed and the chick programs.
Shellie Sullivan,
Coordinator, Senior Citizen’s Program.
Shellie is responsible for the meals for the seniors,
the building that they eat in and the program that is
provided. She arranges the
trips, prizes for bingo,
home visits and she oversees the Country Cupboard
and Angel Food.
Denise Rowell,
Coordinator of Cottage Industries.
Denise oversees the T-shirt shop, Recycle Rebound (door
mats), Gods Handy Work (embroidery machines). She also
keeps the grounds mowed and she helps with the children
and youth program.
Patty Warner, Food
Services. Patty cooks all of the meals
that we serve at the Cookson Hills Center.

Care Employee and Senior Citizen’s Crafts Leader.
