"Cook Memorial aspires to be a vital church which reaches out and supports out community by proclaiming the Gospel and providing comfort and love to all through serving Christ"

We reach people for Christ by spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ who is the hope of the world. We are dedicated to the principle that Jesus was ‘God made flesh on this earth’ who came to save us, redeem us, and show us how to live, die, and be resurrected before our natural death. We can do all of these things because God, through the Holy Spirit, has empowered us and enabled us to do these ‘mighty acts in God ‘that we could not do on our own. Another of our primary Goals is to reach people on behalf of Christ. We are always helping those less fortunate than we, and are always on the lookout for unmet needs in our community. We have helped with Thanksgiving baskets for those who could not otherwise celebrate; helped build habitat for humanity houses; we supplied ‘Quillows’ to the Sheriff’s Department to help traumatized children, and lent a helping hand when ever needed. Through our Noisy Can program we help many local needs by collecting money each week for a designated mission of the month. We also support mission worldwide by our contribution of our fair share to the United Methodist Mission Programs.

Our Choir adds a wonderful dimension to our worship service each week. The
time and talents that these people give to us are awesome and inspiring. The
Choir rehearses each Wednesday at 7:00 PM and on Sunday before the
worship service.
