Food Pantry Needs

With the change in our economy, the services the Food Pantry provides will increase. You are asked to bring in food and personal item donations of for the pantry at any time. Items can be brought to church on Sundays or during the week.

Food items to bring in for this month are:

Potatoes - canned, boxed or raw
Tuna (Canned)
Toothpaste
Bath Soap
Laundry Detergent
Dish Soap
Toilet Tissue

Your monetary donations are appreciated as what food isn't donated has to be purchased at Mid Ohio Food Bank.

We also need plastic grocery bags to use for deliveries.

We have a supply of shampoo and conditioner. Toothbrushes and toothpaste are needed. Please donate toothbrushes that are packaged individually.

2010 Census

With the 2010 U.S. Census process beginning, the Better Business Bureau (BBB) advises people to be cooperative, but be cautious, so as not to become a victim of fraud or identity theft.

1. Census workers will carry a badge, a hand held device, a Census Bureau canvas bag, and a confidentiality notice. Make sure to ask for identification before talking to them.

2. Census Bureau representatives might ask for basic financial information, such as a salary range. They will not ask for Social Security, bank account, or credit card numbers nor will employees solicit donations. Do not give your Social Security number, credit card or banking information. They are only knocking on doors to verify address and statistical information. Census workers may also contact you by telephone, or mail.

3. Census Workers will NOT contact you by email. Never click on a link or open any attachments in an Email supposedly from the U.S. Census Bureau.

4. Do not invite anyone you do not know into your home.
