CHUMC Events Staff Support Team
We have opened the doors of our beautiful church building to Boy
Scouts, Girl Scouts, community groups, other groups, rehearsal dinners and
wedding receptions. When these groups are in the building, we need to have
an evening host at the Welcome Center to monitor building
activities.
We are looking for volunteers (especially men) to staff the Welcome
Center on evenings when there are groups in the building. Most events are
scheduled Monday through Thursday with an occasional Friday, and you would
only need to be here from 6:00-8:30 p.m.
We also need volunteers to help set-up and take-down tables and chairs
for scheduled events. Set-up can be done the evening before the event, and
we would like to have volunteers who can help some evenings.
Please call the church office (878-4530) to volunteer as an evening
host, or to be a part of the set-up/take-down team. Ed Lantz is the
coordinator of the Events Staff. He will contact you for scheduling.

Items For Military Personnel
Our United Methodist Men have sent over 30 packages to service people in
Iraq and Afghanistan. Our servicemen appreciate our support. Please continue
to bring in items and place them in the bin at the Welcome Center.
Mailing costs have exceeded our income. If you would like to help with
postage costs, please contact the church office.

MILITARY PERSONNEL INFORMATION
We maintain addresses of our military personnel. Forms can be found at the
Welcome Center and in the church office for you to complete with address
information. We would like to have a new form completed whenever there is an
address change.
We are so proud of our service men and women. We would like to post a
photo of each so that all can honor them. Please send a photo and address to
