Hello from Outreach:
Thank you to everyone who was so kind in donating their
coats, gloves, scarves to those who need it. The New Life Church will once
again be taken back by your generosity. A special thanks for the beautiful
hand made scarves. The lucky people will feel Gods love through your hands
every time they wear your scarves.
We are also gearing up for the Empty Bowls campaign. This
year it will be held Nov. 14, yes , the same day as the Turkey Dinner. The
United Methodist women has been kind enough to allow us to sell bowls the
same evening as the Turkey Dinner. More information to follow via the
screens in church and filers. The bowls will be $10.00 each and all
proceeds go to the Mid Ohio Food Bank.
Just like the coat donations, I know you will embrace
this opportunity to help people in need this winter.
Please let Pastor Ed , Karen , or Shelley Swallows know
if there is a family in our area in need of Christmas help. The outreach
team would like to help.

2009 CROP Walk Preliminary Report
We had a great day for the Crop Walk on Sunday, October 11. We had
about twenty walkers. Everyone did a good job. So far, we have raised a
little over $2000. There are still several envelopes out.
As soon as I have received all outstanding pledge envelopes, I will
have a full report on how we did.
If you took a CROP WALK envelope, please return it to me ASAP, even if
it is empty. I need to finalize my records.
