Sunday, September 13, was a special day in the life of Columbia Heights. During the 10:10 a.m. worship services, we continued outside for a special dedication service for our new Memorial Honor Garden and flag pole. Click on the picture if you would like to see a larger size.

If you would like to order a paver brick for the garden, forms can be found at the Welcome Center in the church concourse, or you can cell the call church office at 878-4530 and a form will be mailed to you.

Pavers are available for $50.00 each. You can also have a Christian symbol engraved on your paver for an additional $5.00.

The garden is located in front of our Family Life Center. You can stop by to view it at any time.

Help Fight Hunger Empty Bowls Project

Empty Bowls is collaborative effort between the City of Columbus - Recreation & Parks, several churches and a variety of businesses and program sponsors joining together to fight hunger.

Columbus Recreation and Parks Staff, event volunteers and partners of all ages, produce hundreds of clay bowls, which are fired and glazed for the event. The purpose of these bowls is to remind us of that there are many who do not have enough food on their table.

The bowls will be placed on display during our annual Turkey dinner, where for a minimum donation of $10.00 you can select a bowl to take home. Donations for the empty bowls project will go to the Mid Ohio Food Bank.

Please join us for our Turkey Dinner on November 14, and consider donating to the Empty Bowls Project.
