In a few weeks our Lay Leadership and Development committee will
begin meeting to nominate our church's leadership team for 2009. If you
would like to be considered for a position on one of these
administrative committees or ministry teams, please complete the form
from this link or call the church office, 878-4530, and leave your
name, phone number, e-mail address and the name of the committee/team on
which you would like to serve. Information will also be available at the
Welcome Center. Thank you for your willingness to serve.

SPPRC - the personnel committee of the church; meets quarterly
Finance - Raises, receives, manages, expends, and reports church
finances; meets monthly

Trustees - responsible for all church buildings and property;
meets monthly

Administrative Council - receives reports and recommendations
from all ministry teams, sets policy for the church, sets the annual
budget, makes final administrative decisions; meets bi-monthly -
February, April, June, August, October and December

Council on Ministries (COM) - the organization that brings
together all ministry teams to vision and plan programs and
projects; meets bi-monthly - January, March, May, July, September
and November

Outreach - the mission team who enables the congregation to do
mission work in the community and the world; meets bi-monthly with
the COM

TeleCare - contacts first-time visitors, telephones the entire
congregation three times a year phones/visits seniors, shut-ins,
recently hospitalized; meets bimonthly with the COM
-
Christian Education - plans and prepares for Sunday School for
all ages, Vacation Bible School, and special Christian education
projects
-
Youth Council - youth and adult leaders of youth who plan youth
events and activities; meets bi-monthly with the COM and/or as
called

Stewardship - visions, plans, implements and follows through on
the annual stewardship campaign, conducts a 12 month stewardship
plan; meets as called

Worship - provides for regular observances of the sacraments,
plans, coordinates and assists in the liturgical celebrations
throughout the Church year; meets bi-monthly with the COM
-
Promotions - designs, creates, implements advertising for all
COM committee and church related activities; meets bi-monthly with
COM
