Collingwood is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, people-loving person to be our new Coordinator of Outreach and Evangelism.

This part-time position will require approximately 20 hours of your time each week from mid-August through mid-July. The salary is $8-$10 per hour and will be determined by the applicant’s experience, education, and skills.

You will be working with people of all ages - from preschool through older adults. You will supervise some existing programs in our church such as a midweek family night, Urban Day Camp, and youth activities. We will also encourage and support you in developing new programs that will both improve the spiritual life of our congregation and increase our involvement with the neighborhood and community.

An important component of this position will be development and running of a new after-school tutoring program for third and fourth grade students from Whittier School. Through this program we hope to give assistance and support to those students that the school has identified as unlikely to pass the state’s fourth grade Proficiency Test.
