Abingdon Charge of the United Methodist Church Connections |
|
|
A "charge" of the United Methodist Church is two or more churches served by a
single pastor or pastoral team. Abingdon Charge comprises the two churches,
Calvary
and Cokesbury Memorial
United Methodist Churches. The charge is served by Pastor Janet L. Brewer.
|
|
Calvary and Cokesbury Memorial United Methodist Churches are a part of the
Baltimore-Washington Annual Conference
(http://www.bwcumc.org) which comprises about
700 churches in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and part of West Virginia.
Bishop John R. Schol presides over the Conference. For more information about
the organization of the United Methodist Church, see

We belong
to the Baltimore-Harford District, which comprises 82 churches in Baltimore City,
Baltimore County, and Harford County, Maryland. The District
Superintendent is Rev. C. Anthony Hunt.
