The Council of Bishops recently announced that they have completed their work, and certified that the requisite annual conference members have ratified  all eight  amendments to the United Methodist Constitution that were proposed by General Conference 2004. 

Attached is the text that needs to be inserted in your Book of Discipline. 

Please share this e-mail and attachment with pastors in your District and encourage them to place a photocopy of the approved amendments in their 2004 Book of Discipline.
